This oil painting measures 50 X 40cm and comes in an off-white timber frame. The total size, including the frame is 64 x 54cm. The Murrough is a 15 km walk between Wicklow Town and Greystones. It is the largest coastal wetland on the East coast of Ireland and a haven for birdwatchers.
I was inspired to paint this by the colours of the sunset – the warm glow of the waning light cast upon the sky, the sea and stones at this area of outstanding beauty.
